At Kensington Diamonds we abide by a strict code of conduct to ensure that every single diamond we sell our customers has been legally procured from an ethically responsible source. We buy our diamonds exclusively from the world's largest and most-established producers, who are 100% compliant with the regulations laid out in the Kimberley Process. We aim to be a morally responsible company that gives back to communities. Therefore we donate 5% of the purchase price of each sale of all eternity rings, earrings and wedding rings to the Save the Children charity. - HOW DO YOU SHIP ORDERS PLACED ONLINE?
We offer free fully-insured delivery on all of our products, worldwide. You will receive an email from us when your handmade jewelry is ready to be dispatched and it will be sent to you via express Fedex mail. Some countries place additional taxes/duties on imported goods, so please check with us in advance if you wish to confirm whether or not this applies to your place of residence.
- WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
After ordering your selected diamond online, we offer all clients an appointment to visit our showroom and see the diamond for yourself. If for whatever reason it turns out to not be what you were expecting, there is no obligation to continue with the purchase and we will happily help you find an alternative from our other diamonds in stock, or cancel the transaction. Upon confirming you want to proceed with the diamond purchase, customers are expected to pay a 50% deposit of the sale price immediately, and the remaining 50% upon collection of the finished piece. A non-refundable 10% cancellation fee shall apply during the acceptable cancellation period of 48 hours after payment of the initial deposit. However due to the hand made, bespoke nature of our products - after 48 hours the sale cannot be cancelled and is considered final. We always operate in good faith and aim to work with our customers to find a solution to any problem - but refunds will be made at Kensington Diamonds own discretion. We cannot be held liable to provide a refund after a bespoke order has been set into a setting.
- WHERE AND HOW IS YOUR JEWELRY MADE?
Each and every product we stock is handmade by master craftsmen with decades of experience in Tokyo, Japan - ensuring our clients the absolute highest level of quality and excellence.
- Approximately how long will it take for my ring to be ready for delivery/collection?
We aim to complete shipment of all products within two to three weeks of the date of order. Orders can also be collected from our showroom in person.
- How can I be certain that your diamonds are as high quality as you say they are?
All our diamonds (over 0.25 carats) have been certified by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) - known as the world's leading and most thorough grading authority. They are also accompanied with a GIA grading certificate which outlines every conceivable attribute of the diamond. We strongly recommend you only purchase a diamond if it is fully certified and from a legitimate source.

- DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY AGAINST MANUFACTURER DEFECTS?
We are very proud of our manufacturer's craftsmanship and ensure only the highest quality materials go into creating our jewelry. Therefore we are happy to offer a lifetime warranty to guard against any damage as a result of manufacturer defects. Damage as a result of normal everyday wear and tear is not included, which is why we recommend insuring your engagement ring where possible.
- WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept online credit card payments from all major credit card providers up to ¥1 million (Approx. USD $8950 - March 2019) through our securely encrypted PayPal payment gateway. Payments of over ¥1 million are best handled through bank wire transfer into our (Japanese) Mizuho bank account. Bank transfers are eligible for a 3% discount as the credit card transaction fee will be waived.
- Can you resize my ring free of charge?
Classic platinum rings can be easily resized and we offer this service free of charge. However care should be taken when ordering eternity rings or engagement rings containing a significant number of side-stones, as resizing may not be possible. We will happily measure your ring size for you in store. If you are ordering online and are unsure, please use this ring size guide for measurements here.
